Towards Improved Health and Well-Being

Yoga Therapy centers on issues related to health and well-being, emphasizing mindful body awareness at rest and in movement.  These sessions help clients identify and address aspects of their being that keep them from reaching a sense of wellbeing.  You should participate in YT sessions if  you have aspects of your health and well-being that you wish to improve or change.

Katy Ann specializes in Yoga Therapy sessions focused on:

  • pain management
  • creating positive habits (formerly Yoga Therapy for addictions)
  • pre and post-surgery preparedness
  • lifestyle and weight management
  • balancing emotions (anxiety, depression, PTSD).  
What will you need to be ready to do?
  • Yoga postures ARE OPTIONAL and are not the focus in Yoga Therapy  sessions.
  • Commit to a minimum of 6 sessions . (Sliding-scale fee system available if needed)
  • Learn to put yourself first and your pain, addictions, afflictions, and stressors second!
What to expect from this process?
  • Learn the P’s: practice, patience, persistence, planning AND perception on perpetual patterns preventing you from progressing toward PEACE
  • Gain tools for improvement in health which aids in physical well being.

Katy Ann  offers each individual positive body-mind experiences.
  • It is not her intention to heal or fix any human condition.  
  • Her intention is to create a safe space for personal inquiry, self awareness, and ultimately growth.
  • Be a catalyst for bearing witness, self compassion, self improvement and self healing.
  • Sessions offer individualized therapeutic support which decreases the stress response in general.
  • Sessions are intended to decrease stressors therefore decrease the symptoms associated with pain, addiction, negative perpetual thought patterns, etc.
